Pakistan’s Planning Minister Links Political Stability to National Progress

Islamabad: In a strong message to political adversaries, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal emphasized the critical link between political stability and national progress, arguing that Pakistan cannot afford the disruption caused by confrontational politics.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Iqbal criticized the opposition party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), for what he described as actions detrimental to national interests, which he claimed no democracy should tolerate. He stressed the need for the PTI to apologize to the nation and its institutions and called for a revision of their political strategies to align more closely with national progress.

The Minister’s statements underscore the government’s stance on the importance of political harmony in fostering a conducive environment for the country’s advancement.
