Pakistan’s Petroleum Division Receives Significant Grant for Development Projects

Islamabad, In a significant move to bolster energy and petroleum projects, the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet has approved a technical supplementary grant of 423.726 million rupees for the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) projects under the Petroleum Division.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, This decision was made during a meeting chaired by the Caretaker Federal Minister for Finance, Revenue, and Economic Affairs, Dr. Shamshad Akhtar.

The approval of the grant, as presented by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), is expected to facilitate the advancement of key projects within the petroleum sector. This injection of funds demonstrates the government’s commitment to enhancing the energy infrastructure and capabilities of Pakistan, a crucial step for the nation’s economic development and energy security.
