Islamabad: Today, both chambers of Pakistan’s parliament, the Senate and the National Assembly, are holding separate sessions at the Parliament House to address legislative agendas and discuss critical national and international issues.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the National Assembly, known as the Lower House, commenced its proceedings at 11:30 AM, while the Senate, referred to as the Upper House, is scheduled to meet later in the evening at 5:00 PM. These sessions are expected to cover a wide range of topics, reflecting the government’s priorities and concerns at both domestic and global levels.
The meetings are pivotal in shaping the legislative landscape of the country, as they provide a platform for lawmakers to debate and forward new laws and amendments crucial for Pakistan’s governance and international relations.
