Islamabad, The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony in Pakistan has initiated action against tour operators engaged in the illegal booking of Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Ministry has directed the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to conduct an inquiry into “Fifth Pillar Family Takafull Limited,” a company allegedly involved in illicit Hajj booking activities.
In an effort to protect the public from fraud, the Ministry has issued a warning against trusting such fraudulent companies. It highlighted that Takafull companies are not authorized for these religious bookings. The Ministry also advised the public to verify the details of companies on its official website before making any Hajj or Umrah bookings, ensuring the legitimacy of their operations.
This move by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony represents a significant step towards safeguarding the sanctity and proper management of these important religious obligations.
