Pakistan’s Law Ministry Vows to Protect Kashmiri Interests Amid Legal Discussions

Islamabad, In a recent meeting with representatives from various Bar councils of Pakistan, Minister for Law and Justice Ahmad Irfan Aslam affirmed the Law Ministry’s dedication to safeguarding the interests of the people of Kashmir.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the delegation convened with the Law Minister in Islamabad to discuss the repercussions of the Indian Supreme Court’s decision to validate the Indian government’s annulment of Jammu and Kashmir’s special status. Minister Aslam commended the lawyers for their active role in addressing the Kashmir issue and stressed the need for a united counter-narrative that involves all critical stakeholders.

The meeting highlighted the Law Ministry’s commitment to collaborate with relevant parties to protect the rights and interests of the Kashmiri people, reflecting Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to respond to the evolving situation in Jammu and Kashmir.
