Karachi: Pakistan’s information technology exports have reached $1.2 billion during the first four months of the current fiscal year. This marks a significant milestone for the country’s tech industry as it continues to expand its global footprint.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the State Bank reported that IT exports amounted to $330 million in October, reflecting a 13 percent increase from September. Over the past year, the IT sector has consistently exported services valued at approximately $290 million on average per month.
In tandem with the rise in IT exports, Pakistani companies have broadened their range of global clients, further solidifying the country’s position in the international tech market.
