Islamabad, Murtaza Solangi, Pakistan’s Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting, has called on political parties to prioritize the welfare of differently-abled persons in their election manifestoes. This appeal was made during a ceremony in Islamabad marking World Braille Day.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Solangi stressed the importance of acknowledging and upholding the equal rights of differently-abled individuals, including their voting privileges. He emphasized the need for elected representatives to focus on legislation that ensures the welfare and rights of this often-overlooked segment of society.
