Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary to Voice Key Issues at 50th CFM Session in Yaounde


Yaounde: Foreign Secretary Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi is set to represent Pakistan at the 50th Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM), starting Thursday in Yaounde, Cameroon, where he will address multiple critical global and regional issues.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Foreign Secretary Qazi will present Pakistan’s stance on several pressing matters including the situation in Gaza, Middle Eastern tensions, and the plight of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The discussions will also cover the importance of unity among Muslim nations, rising Islamophobia and xenophobia worldwide, along with climate change and terrorism.



During the session, the Foreign Secretary plans to engage in bilateral talks with counterparts from other member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), aiming to strengthen diplomatic ties and discuss mutual concerns.
