New York: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar stated that Pakistan’s foreign policy is currently on a successful trajectory, highlighting enhanced cooperation with allied nations and a focus on economic potential and investment opportunities.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Tarar, while speaking to the media in New York, emphasized that the coordination and cooperation with friendly countries have notably increased. He also pointed out the economic strides the country is making, with inflation rates falling to single digits, signaling a positive direction for Pakistan’s economy.
The Information Minister further expressed the efforts made by Pakistan in conveying its investment potential to the global community. In response to queries regarding international issues, Tarar mentioned that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has actively raised the Palestine issue at various international forums, advocating for peace in the region. He reiterated Pakistan’s stance on the necessity of a ceasefire in Gaza and the accountability of Israel for its actions.
Moreover, Tarar highlighted Pakistan’s humanitarian efforts, noting that the country has sent assistance to the Palestinian people to support them amidst the ongoing conflict.
