Islamabad, Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani is set to represent Pakistan at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s (SCO) Council of Heads of Government meeting. The event is scheduled to take place in Kyrgyzstan this Thursday.

According to a news release by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Jilani will be attending the significant assembly upon the formal invitation of Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Akylbek Japarov. Noteworthy attendees at the SCO Council of Heads of Government gathering will include the Heads of Government from nations such as China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. Furthermore, the Vice-President of Iran and the Foreign Ministers of both Pakistan and India are set to join. A highlight of the meeting will be Pakistan assuming the prestigious Chair of the SCO Council of Heads of Government.
