Pakistan’s Exports Surge Following SIFC Initiatives

Islamabad: Recent facilitation efforts by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) have resulted in a notable increase in Pakistan’s exports since the onset of the current fiscal year, reflecting significant gains across multiple international markets.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, export figures to the United States in July reached 476.017 million dollars, marking a 7.26 percent increase compared to the same period last year. The United Arab Emirates also saw a rise in imports from Pakistan, with a 7.74 percent increase.

Further gains were noted in exports to Britain and China, which stood at 183.303 million dollars and 160.100 million dollars, respectively. Moreover, the collective export value to other key destinations including Germany, Holland, Italy, Spain, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey totaled 553.951 million dollars.
