Pakistan’s dossier on Indian brutalities in IIOJK hailed

Srinagar, September 16, 2021 (PPI-OT):Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Azad Jammu and Kashmir have welcomed the dossier issued by the government of Pakistan exposing the Indian brutalities in the occupied territory. The Kashmir Freedom Front, a constituent of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, in a statement issued in Srinagar said Pakistan has always exposed the war crimes being perpetrated by Indian troops in IIOJK. It said this dossier reflects Pakistan’s unwavering support to the Kashmiris freedom struggle.

The KFF also welcomed the appeal by Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi to the United Nations and the international community to demand access for the UN Human Rights Council to IIOJK for an independent inquiry into human rights violations in the territory. It called upon the international community to play its role in the resolution of the Kashmir dispute for ensuring permanent peace in South Asia.

The Chairman of Islamic Political Party, Muhammad Yousuf Naqash, in a statement in Srinagar said presenting of the dossier on Indian war crimes in IIOJK to the United Nations is a clear message that Pakistan stands fully behind the Kashmiris in their just freedom struggle. He said Pakistan is selflessly helping the Kashmiri people on moral, political and diplomatic fronts for which the Kashmiris are thankful to the country.

He maintained that the sincere efforts by Pakistan have exposed the ugly face of India and its crimes in the occupied territory before the world. He said it is the responsibility of the international community to force New Delhi to stop its state terrorism in IIOJK and give the Kashmiris their inalienable right to self-determination.

Meanwhile, the Convener of AJK chapter of Mirwaiz-led Hurriyat forum, Syed Faiz Naqshbandi, in a statement in Islamabad appreciating the dossier released by Foreign Minister of Pakistan said it depicts the true and factual position of the grim situation of IIOJK.

He said fake encounters, disappearances and custodial killings are order of the day in the occupied territory while chemical weapons are being used by Indian troops against civilian property to destroy dwelling along with dwellers. He appealed to the world community especially the UN to send fact-finding missions to IIOJK to assess the ground situation. He added that India must be put to task and sanctions for systematic and massive human rights violations in IIOJK.

The Chairman Jammu of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement, Altaf Ahmed Butt, in a statement in Islamabad, today, said “We highly appreciate and welcome the dossier by Pakistan which has exposed the grave human rights violations perpetrated by fascist Modi regime in IIOJK.” He said Pakistan has always supported the Kashmir cause.

He also demanded the release of illegally detained Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders including Muhammad Yasin Malik, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Masarrat Aalam Butt, Aasiya Andrabi, Dr Abdul Hameed Fayyaz, Nayeem Ahmed Khan, Naheeda Nasreen and Fehmeeda Sofi.
