Pakistan’s dossier exposing Indian brutalities in IIOJK welcomed

Srinagar, September 15, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Human Rights Committee in-charge, Yasmeen Raja, has welcomed the dossier issued by the government of Pakistan on the Indian brutalities in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Yasmeen Raja in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, said Pakistan has always exposed war crimes committed by Indian forces in IIOJK and advocated the resolution of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.

She said the dossier shows Pakistan’s unflinching commitment to the Kashmir cause, and political rights of the Kashmiri people. She said it is duty of the world community to play role in settling the Kashmir dispute as per the UN resolutions. The APHC leader also hailed the statement of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, in which she expressed concern over the misuse of draconian law, Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act by the Indian authorities in India and IIOJK.

Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir Political Resistance Movement (JKPRM), leader, Dr Musaib Ahmad, in statement in Srinagar welcomed the dossier of the Government of Pakistan on the massive human rights violations including fake encounters committed by the Indian forces in IIOJK. He expressed serious concern over the shifting of over two dozen political detainees from Srinagar Central Jail to outside Valley.

He demanded release of Hurriyat leaders including Muhammad Yasin Malik, Shabbir Ahmed Shah, Masarrat Aalam Butt, Aasiya Andrabi, Dr Abdul Hameed Fayyaz, Nayeem Ahmed Khan, Naheeda Nasreen, Fehmeeda Sofi, Altaf Ahmed Shah, Ayaz Muhammad Akbar, Peer Saifullah, Raja Merajuddin Kalwal, Shahid-ul-Islam, Farooq Ahmed Dar, Syed Shahid Yousuf, Syed Shakeel Yousuf, Muhammad Yousuf Mir, Muhammad Yousuf Falahi, Muhammad Rafiq Ganai, Hayat Ahmed Butt, Dr Muhammad Qasim Fakhtoo, Ghulam Qadir Butt and Muhammad Shafi Shariati.

The JKPRM leader also hailed the remarks of the Michelle Bachelet on Kashmir. He urged the UN to fulfill its responsibilities regarding resolution of the Kashmir dispute to save the people of the Jammu and Kashmir from Indian state terrorism.
