Islamabad, In an official meeting today at the Ministry of Defence, Pakistan’s Defence Minister, Lt Gen (Retd) Anwar Ali Hyder, engaged in talks with H.E. Mr. Nicolas Galey, Ambassador of France. The discussions centered on the importance of Pakistan’s relations with France and the broader European Union, with particular emphasis on increased collaboration between their armed forces.
According to Press Information Department, the Defence Minister underlined Pakistan’s commitment to regional stability, focusing on its relations with neighboring Afghanistan and India. He expressed the country’s intention to maintain close cooperation with France on bilateral matters, especially in combating global challenges like terrorism and extremism. The French Ambassador acknowledged Pakistan’s contributions to regional stability and expressed his intent to bolster diplomatic ties between the two nations.
