Pakistan’s Consulate in Dubai Responds Proactively to Assist Nationals Amid UAE Rain Disruptions


ABU DHABI, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, commended the efforts of the Pakistan Consulate General in Dubai for their swift response to the challenges posed by recent heavy rains, focusing particularly on aid for Pakistanis stranded at Dubai airport.



According to Press Information Department, Ambassador Tirmizi highlighted the proactive measures taken by Consul General Hussain Muhammad and his team, who were actively involved on the ground at Dubai airport. They distributed essential supplies such as food, medicine, and milk for children to Pakistani families affected by flight delays. In his efforts to assist over 60 passengers destined for Karachi, the Consul General also liaised with airline authorities to expedite flight departures and address the issues faced by stranded passengers. Additionally, members of the Consulate paid a courtesy visit to Pakistani cricketers Misbah-Ul-Haq, Abdur Razzaq, Umer Gul, and Kamran Akmal, who were also delayed at the airport end route to Houston, USA.



The Community Welfare Wing of the Consulate coordinated with the Social Centre Sharjah and Pakistan Association Dubai to ensure that Pakistani community members had access to daily necessities during this disruptive period.
