Pakistan’s Caretaker PM Warns of Retaliation if India Initiates Aggression

Islamabad, Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan, Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, has issued a stark warning to India, stating that Pakistan will respond decisively and with renewed determination to any aggression similar to the 2019 incident, especially in the context of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in India.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Prime Minister Kakar, during a podcast with a digital media channel, emphatically stated that Pakistan’s response to any potential aggression from India would mirror its actions in 2019. He asserted, “We will hit their planes. We will respond in the same coin… Neither our bullets nor determination are old. Our bullets are new and our determination is quite renewed and fresh.” This statement reflects a strong stance on national defense and a clear message of deterrence.

Prime Minister Kakar emphasized that there should be no illusions about Pakistan’s capacity to defend itself, highlighting that the country possesses a robust defense mechanism to protect its people. He also touched upon the longstanding issue of the Kashmir dispute, suggesting that as long as this issue remains unresolved, the potential for conflict between India and Pakistan persists, with the possibility of any incident triggering an exchange between the two nations.

These comments come against the backdrop of historical tensions between India and Pakistan, particularly over the Kashmir region, and serve as a significant statement of Pakistan’s position in the region’s complex geopolitical landscape.
