New York, At the annual meeting to celebrate the International Day of Nowruz held at the United Nations headquarters, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Munir Akram, highlighted the urgent need to address global challenges including conflict, poverty, inequality, religious intolerance, and climate change. In his remarks, Ambassador Akram also drew attention to the plight of individuals in Palestine, underscoring the ongoing tragedy they face.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ambassador Akram stressed the significance of Nowruz as not only a celebration but a time for profound contemplation.
