Pakistanis to mark October 27 as Kashmir Black Day 

Islamabad, October 14, 2022 (PPI-OT):A meeting was held in Islamabad, today, to review the preparations for observing Kashmir Black Day on October 27 in the country and abroad against Indian illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir.

The meeting was chaired by Secretary Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, Sher Alam Mehsud, and was attended by the representatives of the four provincial governments, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Interior and Information and Broadcasting, the convener of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference AJK chapter Mahmood Ahmad Saghar and General Secretary Sheikh Abdul Mateen. The participants gave a detailed briefing on the preparations made by their respective governments and organizations regarding the observance of the Black Day.

The participants of the meeting expressed their determination to mark the Black Day to condemn the Indian illegal occupation on Jammu and Kashmir. In the meeting, rich tributes were paid to the martyrs of the Kashmir freedom movement and a special prayer was also offered for the martyred Hurriyat leader Altaf Ahmad Shah, who recently died in Indian captivity.
