Pakistani Universities to Establish Kashmir Learning Centres, Announces SAPM Mushaal Mullick

Islamabad, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Human Rights and Women Empowerment, has announced the establishment of ‘Kashmir Learning Centres’ across Pakistani and Azad Jammu and Kashmir universities. These centers aim to promote study and research on the Kashmir issue.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Mullick’s announcement came during a virtual interactive session with educational institutions. She emphasized the profound connection between the Kashmir issue and peace in South Asia. The SAPM highlighted the crucial role of academia in projecting the Kashmir cause through academic research, as well as arts and culture studies.

This initiative marks a significant step in fostering a deeper understanding and awareness of the Kashmir issue within the academic community. The ‘Kashmir Learning Centres’ are expected to serve as hubs for scholarly inquiry and research, contributing to a more informed and nuanced discourse on the subject.
