Pakistani Skilled Professionals in Focus During SAPM’s Visit to Alfanar Headquarters in Riyadh

Riyadh, The Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Mr. Jawad Sohrab Malik, visited the Alfanar company headquarters in Riyadh, a leading power and construction firm in Saudi Arabia. The visit highlighted the potential for increased employment opportunities for Pakistani professionals in the region.

According to Press Information Department, Mr. Malik was warmly received by Alfanar’s CEO, Mr. Sabah Al-Mutlaq, and Deputy CEO, Mr. Muhammad Al-Mutlaq, along with the Ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia, Mr. Ahmad Farooq, and Community Welfare Attachés. Alfanar, which already employs a workforce comprising 20% Pakistani professionals, expressed interest in hiring more from Pakistan for its upcoming projects. The SAPM emphasized Pakistan’s rich pool of skilled and experienced professionals in engineering, IT, healthcare, and hospitality, asserting their potential to contribute significantly to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 development goals.

CEO Sabah Al Mutlaq commended the quality of Pakistani manpower and their contributions to the Saudi economy, expressing eagerness to engage more Pakistani workers in future projects. This visit underscores the Pakistani government’s commitment to strengthening economic ties with Saudi Arabia and creating mutually beneficial opportunities for both countries.
