Abu Dhabi, Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan, Anwaar ul Haq Kakar, made a visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi today, reflecting on the historical ties between the UAE and Pakistan.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during his visit, Prime Minister Kakar offered fateha at the mausoleum of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, recalling the late leader’s close relationship with Pakistan’s people and leadership.
The Prime Minister received briefings about the mosque’s role in promoting notions of coexistence, tolerance, and openness to other cultures. He was also informed about the mosque’s efforts in highlighting the true essence of Islamic culture and fostering cross-cultural communication.
The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, known for being the largest mosque in the UAE and the third largest in the world, represents a significant cultural and religious landmark. The Prime Minister’s visit underscores the continuing cultural and diplomatic relations between Pakistan and the UAE.
