Pakistani Police Officer Receives International Recognition for Excellence in Performance

Chicago: SSP Riffat Bukhari of the Punjab Police has been awarded the prestigious Excellence in Performance Award by the International Association of Women Police. The commendation came during the 61st annual conference in Chicago, USA, marking a significant achievement for Pakistan on the international stage.

According to Punjab Police, the award recognizes a woman police officer each year for her outstanding contributions to society. SSP Riffat Bukhari was distinguished for her efforts in enhancing the protection of women, implementing an Artificial Intelligence System, and developing an intelligent traffic management and road safety mechanism. The award was presented by Debra Friedel, President of the International Association of Women Police.

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar and MD Safe Cities Authority Ahsan Younas extended their congratulations to SSP Bukhari, acknowledging that her recognition serves as a source of pride for all police officers, particularly women in the force.
