Pakistani Official Visits Iranian Embassy to Mourn President Raisi

Islamabad, Romina Khurshid Alam, the Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, visited the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Islamabad to express condolences on the passing of Iranian President Dr. Ebrahim Raisi. The visit occurred after a tragic helicopter crash that claimed the lives of President Raisi, Foreign Minister Amir Hossain Abdollahian, and other senior officials.

According to Press Information Department, during her visit, Alam met with Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Mr. Reza Amiri Moghaddam, to pay respects and recall the significant contributions of President Raisi, particularly his recent visit to Pakistan which she described as remarkable and memorable. She highlighted President Raisi’s efforts in fostering ties between Iran and Pakistan and his role in advocating for the global Muslim community. Alam also signed a condolence book, marking the solemn occasion with her tributes to the late president.
