Islamabad, Federal Minister for Communications, Privatization, and Investment Board Abdul Aleem Khan is set to represent Pakistan at the “Road to Tien Shan” conference in Tajikistan from May 29. The two-day international event will gather representatives from China, India, Armenia, Iran, Turkey, and Azerbaijan to discuss regional connectivity and infrastructure.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Khan spoke with newsmen in Islamabad about Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to enhance its road network, linking Afghanistan and China to Tajikistan. He emphasized that the development of new highways will not only provide vital access to ports and commercial corridors but will also foster international cooperation and boost trade from Pakistan, reinforcing the country’s strategic importance in regional connectivity initiatives.
