Jeddah, Mr. Jawad Sohrab Malik, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, recently engaged in a series of meetings and discussions with the Pakistani community and business leaders in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The meetings focused on enhancing the collaboration between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, particularly in the area of human resource development.
According to Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis & HRD, Mr. Malik emphasized the significance of aligning human resource development with the needs of the Saudi market and economy. He highlighted the importance of close coordination and robust exchange of ideas among stakeholders of overseas employment, underscoring its critical value in capitalizing on opportunities for Pakistani manpower in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During his visit to the Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah, Mr. Malik interacted with notable members of the Pakistani community, including businessmen and professionals. They discussed a range of issues, particularly those affecting expatriates in Saudi Arabia. Mr. Malik assured the community of the Pakistani government’s commitment to supporting its citizens in Saudi Arabia and other countries. He also shared details about the ongoing efforts of the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis to safeguard the interests and welfare of Pakistanis living in the kingdom.
