ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Army has launched a series of strategic operations in response to what it describes as unprovoked aggression from Afghan forces along the Pak-Afghan border. These actions have resulted in the capture of numerous Afghan military posts and the reported neutralization of Taliban operatives.
Security sources indicate that the Pakistan Army has targeted Afghan positions with precision, leading to the capture of nineteen posts along the border. The operations have reportedly resulted in Afghan Taliban forces either being killed or fleeing their positions.
Among the major operations, the Pakistani military conducted successful strikes on Durrani Camp and Manujba Camp Battalion Headquarters, as well as other key locations in the Noshki Sector. These sites have been described as completely destroyed, with significant casualties reported among Taliban soldiers and insurgent elements.
Additionally, the Pakistan Army has taken control of an important Afghan post in the Zhob Sector, where the Pakistani flag has now been raised. During this operation, a Humvee armored personnel carrier used by the Afghan Taliban was destroyed.
In another strategic move, the Pakistani military targeted an Afghan tank position located opposite Kurram, leading to the destruction of multiple tanks.
Operations also extended to the second Battalion Headquarters of the Afghan Taliban in the Brabcha area. This site was reportedly used to launch insurgents into Pakistan, and significant losses have been inflicted on the Taliban and allied insurgents.
These developments come amid escalating tensions along the border, as both nations seek to assert control over disputed regions. The Pakistan Army’s actions are being viewed as a significant tactical success by security analysts.
