Islamabad: The Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Tariq Fazal Chaudhary, emphasized the significant role played by the Pakistani media in conveying precise information to the public during the recent tensions with India. Chaudhary acknowledged the media’s contribution to accurately presenting the situation to the international community while addressing the National Assembly during the Question Hour.
Addressing inquiries, Chaudhary assured that no fees are imposed on students attending public sector schools and confirmed that these students receive free textbooks.
In related discussions, Minister of State for National Health Services, Mukhtar Ahmad Malik, informed the assembly about the recent civil defense training provided to approximately thirteen thousand young people. He credited these individuals with playing a crucial role in ensuring the safe evacuation of citizens during the heightened tensions with India.
Additionally, Parliamentary Secretary for Defence Zeb Jaffar reported that Pakistan International Airlines has been operating profitably for about a year. She attributed the airline’s successful financial performance to its operations on lucrative international routes.
