Pakistani Forces Respond to Afghan Taliban Aggression, Eight Killed

Islamabad: In a significant border skirmish, Pakistani forces retaliated against an unprovoked attack by the Afghan Taliban, resulting in the deaths of eight militants, including key commanders. According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the confrontation began when the Afghan Taliban launched an unprovoked attack with heavy weaponry from inside Afghanistan, targeting Pakistani check posts yesterday. The Pakistani security forces responded promptly and effectively, neutralizing eight Taliban members, including commanders identified as Khalil and Jan Muhammad, and injuring sixteen others.
