Bangkok: The Embassy of Pakistan in Bangkok held a significant event at the Islamic Centre to commemorate Kashmir Black Day, engaging members of the Pakistani diaspora, local academics, and the Thai Pathan community. The event focused on the historical and ongoing struggles in the Jammu and Kashmir region.
According to Press Information Department, speakers at the event, including academicians and community leaders, discussed the historical context of October 26, 1947, when Indian troops landed in Srinagar, an action they termed illegal under international law.
