Islamabad: Pakistani embassies in Turkiye and Brazil hosted special ceremonies in observance of Youm-e-Istehsal, reflecting on the ongoing situation in Kashmir.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the event in Turkiye featured remarks by Ali Sahin, Chairperson of the Pak-Turkiye Parliamentary Friendship Group, who emphasized the need for resolving the Kashmir dispute for peace and stability in South Asia. He noted that Turkiye supports a peaceful settlement of the Kashmir issue, aligned with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
The ceremony in Brazil saw participation from various societal segments and focused on discussing the impacts of what were described as India’s illegal and unilateral acts on August 5, 2019.
