Islamabad: In response to recent media inquiries, a spokesperson for the Pakistani government confirmed that high-level delegations will visit key capitals, including Moscow, in June. The visits come under the directive of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and aim to present Pakistan’s perspective on recent Indian aggression and the country’s measured response.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, Syed Tariq Fatemi, is set to lead the delegation to Moscow from June 2 to June 4, 2025. The visit includes scheduled meetings with senior Russian officials.
In addition to formal discussions, the delegation will engage with media representatives and think tanks during their stay in Moscow. The efforts are part of Pakistan’s strategy to communicate its stance on the regional tensions effectively.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs provided the details, emphasizing the importance of these diplomatic engagements in conveying Pakistan’s position to international stakeholders.
