Islamabad, In a demonstration of cultural pride and unity, the Pakistani diaspora in the United States celebrated Pakistan Resolution Day with a special Iftar dinner at Pakistan House in New York. The event, organized by the Alizai Foundation of Coney Island, was attended by Consul General of Pakistan Aamer Ahmed Atozai and saw a significant turnout from the Pakistani American community, representing a wide array of backgrounds and professions.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the celebrations included a cake-cutting ceremony to symbolize unity and solidarity among the attendees, followed by collective prayers for Pakistan’s continued progress and prosperity. This gathering not only commemorated the historical significance of Pakistan Resolution Day but also celebrated the spirit of Ramadan, highlighting the values of compassion, empathy, and community harmony.
In his address to the community, Consul General Atozai emphasized the importance of the Ramadan values and the guiding principles laid down by Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He called on the community to adhere to the ideals of unity, faith, and discipline, underscoring their critical role in the nation’s development and advancement.
