Tehran, H.E. Muhammad Mudassir Tipu, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Iran, welcomed a 22-member delegation from the Iran Union of Automobile Spare Parts Manufacturers and Sellers at the Pakistani Embassy in Tehran. Marking the inaugural organized trip from the Iranian auto parts industry to Pakistan, the delegation aims to attend the “Pakistan Auto Show 2023” in Karachi later this month. Discussions between the two parties revolved around fortifying business relations, prospects of joint ventures, and enhancing auto parts trade between the countries.
According to a news release by the Press Information Department (PID), Syed Ahmed Hosseini, Chairman of the Union, conveyed gratitude for the meeting, underlining its significance in nurturing closer business ties between both nations’ private sectors. Ambassador Tipu underscored Pakistan’s attractive investment environment, inviting the delegation to explore collaborations with Pakistani companies. Anticipating positive outcomes from this visit, the Ambassador envisioned a boost in Pakistani auto parts exports to Iran, importing economical alternatives from Iran, and establishing technology-centric joint ventures. Assurances of complete support from the Embassy were provided to ensure the delegation’s inaugural trip is both successful and productive. Key members of the delegation, including Mr. Afshin Asgharzadeh, Dr. Reza Mallaki, and others, were present during this gathering.
