Karachi, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the European Union and Belgium, Amna Baloch, extended her congratulations to Ali Raza Syed, Chairman of the Kashmir Council Europe (KCEU), for receiving a prestigious human rights award from the Human Rights Council of Pakistan (HRCP).
According to Kashmir Media Service, the HRCP recognized Ali Raza Syed last week for his significant contributions to supporting the oppressed people of Jammu and Kashmir in Europe. In her congratulatory message, Ambassador Baloch praised Syed’s efforts, stating, “Please accept heartiest congratulations on being awarded the prestigious laurel by HRCP for upholding the human rights of oppressed Kashmiris in Europe.”
She acknowledged the recognition as a testament to Syed’s exceptional hard work and his impact in raising awareness against India’s illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir and the severe human rights violations in the region.
In response to the ambassador’s message, Ali Raza Syed expressed his gratitude, noting, “Thank you immensely for your heartfelt congratulations and kind words.” This award and recognition highlight the ongoing international advocacy efforts for the Kashmiri cause and human rights issues.
