Pakistan Witnesses Boost in Company Registrations

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s business environment is witnessing a notable improvement, leading to a significant rise in investment and company registrations, as reported by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). A total of 10,511 new companies registered with the SECP between February and April this year, marking a 21 percent increase compared to the same period last year, indicating a surge in business confidence.

According to Radio Pakistan, Musarat Jabeen, the Executive Director of the SECP, stated that the commission is implementing key reforms aimed at simplifying the investment process and modernizing the financial system. These efforts are part of a broader strategy to attract more investors and strengthen the economic framework of the country.
