Pakistan Warns of Strong Retaliation to Any Indian Aggression

Islamabad: Pakistan will respond with full force to any Indian misadventure, according to Muhammad Khalid Jamli, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Russia. In an exclusive interview with a foreign media outlet, the ambassador voiced concerns over recent developments in the region.

Ambassador Jamli referred to measures announced by India following the Pahalgam incident, which include reducing the size of its diplomatic mission, closing borders, and suspending the Indus Water Treaty. He noted that the treaty allows water from western rivers to flow from north to south into Pakistan, a crucial resource for the country’s agriculture.

He stressed that Pakistan’s agriculture sector is vital to its 240 million citizens and warned that any attempt by India to disrupt the water flow would be considered an act of war. Such actions, he stated, would prompt Pakistan to respond with its entire spectrum of power.

The ambassador also highlighted an increase in aggressive media coverage in India, coupled with statements from Indian officials and leaked documents, suggesting potential plans for strikes in Pakistan.

Ambassador Jamli assured that Pakistan’s armed forces, with the backing of the nation’s populace, are prepared to respond decisively to any threats.
