Islamabad: Pakistan will utilize all available options to ensure the security of its citizens and maintain its sovereignty, according to the Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar. In a statement shared on the social media platform X, Tarar emphasized the country’s commitment to safeguarding its interests.
Tarar expressed gratitude towards Turkiye and Qatar, acknowledging their roles in mediating discussions. He highlighted the importance of Afghanistan adhering to its international, regional, and bilateral commitments to control terrorism, noting that Afghanistan has yet to meet these obligations.
While expressing no animosity towards the Afghan people, Tarar made it clear that Pakistan would not support any actions by the Afghan Taliban regime that could harm the interests of both the Afghan populace and neighboring countries.
