Pakistan Vows Justice for Attack on Chinese Nationals, Minister Visits Wuhan


Islamabad, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, Pakistan’s Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, visited Wuhan, China, carrying a profound message of condolence and solidarity. His visit, marking the return of the mortal remains of five Chinese personnel killed in a terrorist attack in Bisham last week, underscored Pakistan’s deep commitment to its relationship with China.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during his stay, Minister Hussain attended a special ceremony dedicated to the memory of the deceased personnel. His engagements included a significant meeting with Ms. Chen Ping, Vice Governor of Hubei Province, during which he expressed his deepest condolences for the loss of innocent lives and reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering resolve to bring the perpetrators of the attack to justice.



The Minister’s tribute to the Chinese personnel highlighted their “invaluable contribution to the development and progress of Pakistan,” reinforcing the strong bonds between the two nations. This visit not only served as a gesture of Pakistan’s solidarity with China in the aftermath of the tragedy but also as a reaffirmation of its commitment to combating terrorism and ensuring justice for the victims and their families.
