Pakistan-Vietnam Trade Volume Surges by 28% in First Half of the Year

Islamabad: Trade between Pakistan and Vietnam has seen a significant increase of 28% in the first six months of the current year compared to the same period last year. This growth underscores the strengthening economic ties between the two nations.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the announcement was made by the Ambassador of Vietnam to Pakistan, Pham Anh Tuan, during a function held in Islamabad to celebrate the 79th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day. Ambassador Tuan highlighted the burgeoning bilateral trade relations as a cornerstone of the cooperation between Pakistan and Vietnam.

He noted that the frequency of delegation exchanges for business and visits has grown annually, enhancing the economic and diplomatic connections between the two countries. Additionally, the signing of numerous treaties and agreements has established a solid legal framework that supports the continuation and expansion of these mutually beneficial relations.
