Islamabad: Acting President Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to its strong diplomatic relations with Syria during a meeting with Syrian Ambassador Dr. Ramez Alraee. Highlighting the enduring alliance between the two nations, Gilani noted their history of mutual support in challenging times.



In the discussion, Gilani acknowledged Pakistan’s influential role in reinstating Syria’s membership in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), underscoring the importance of unity and collaboration among Islamic countries.
