Islamabad, May 20, 2022 (PPI-OT):Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Pakistan and the US have mutual desire to further strengthen their partnership and promote frequent exchanges between the lawmakers of the two countries. Talking to Chairman of the US House Foreign Affairs Sub-Committee on Asia, Ami Bera, he said that sustained engagement with the US Congress is essential for giving support to Pakistan-US ties.

In a virtual meeting with the Chairman of US House Armed Services Committee, Adam Smith, he drew the attention of, about Indian illegal actions of August 5, 2019 in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and its continued atrocities against the Kashmiri people. Meanwhile, talking to Senator Lindsey Graham on telephone, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari emphasized the importance of a broad based and sustained engagement between Pakistan and the US.
