Pakistan Urges Immediate Dialogue to Resolve Ukraine Conflict

New York: Pakistan has reiterated its call for an immediate halt to hostilities in Ukraine, advocating for peace through dialogue. Speaking at a United Nations Security Council briefing on Ukraine, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, emphasized the necessity of returning to structured negotiations to achieve lasting peace.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ahmad stressed that there is no military solution to the conflict and highlighted the importance of dialogue grounded in the principles of the UN Charter. Pakistan’s appeal for peaceful resolution comes amid ongoing tensions and violence in the region, underscoring the nation’s commitment to diplomatic solutions in international conflicts.
