New York: Pakistan has made a renewed appeal for dialogue and diplomacy to address the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. The call was made during a United Nations Security Council briefing focused on maintaining peace and security in the region.
According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN Usman Jadoon emphasized the importance of avoiding further escalation, which he warned could worsen the current crisis. Jadoon highlighted Pakistan’s willingness to engage in efforts that promote a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, aligning with international law and the UN Charter.
