Pakistan Urges Dialogue for Stability in the Middle East


New York: Pakistan has stressed that dialogue and diplomacy are essential for achieving de-escalation and enduring peace in the Middle East region.



According to Radio Pakistan, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, highlighted this approach during a Security Council briefing on “The Situation in the Middle East.” Ambassador Ahmad underscored Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to foster diplomatic engagement among the involved parties. He expressed gratitude to the participants, international partners, and the UN Secretary-General for their support of these initiatives.



Ambassador Ahmad reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to facilitating dialogue among the parties with the aim of reaching a constructive resolution.
