Pakistan UN Mission Launches New Multilingual Website to Enhance Global Communication


Islamabad: In a move to bolster its digital diplomacy, the Pakistan Mission to the United Nations in New York unveiled a new, advanced website during a ceremony described as both simple and impressive.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ambassador Munir Akram, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, inaugurated the website. He emphasized that the user-friendly site would significantly boost the Mission’s ability to disseminate information about its activities effectively. Ambassador Akram also highlighted the importance of adopting modern technical tools for communication in digital spaces.



The website, developed pro bono by Ahmad Hashim, CEO of Cygnis Media, and his team, features a modern design that enhances user experience and sets a high standard for diplomatic digital presence. It includes several key features such as multilingual access with translations available in over one hundred languages, aiming to foster global communication and understanding.



Additionally, the website hosts a comprehensive archive that offers easy access to press releases and official statements, thus providing valuable resources for historical diplomatic engagement. The new website can be visited at https://pakun.org/.
