Pakistan-UAE Joint Ministerial Commission to Advance Bilateral Ties


Abu Dhabi: The 12th session of the Pakistan-UAE Joint Ministerial Commission, scheduled for June 24, 2025, will see Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, leading a delegation to Abu Dhabi. The meeting aims to deepen strategic, economic, and development cooperation between the two countries.



The Joint Ministerial Commission serves as the primary platform for bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and the UAE. The upcoming session will focus on advancing the agenda of collaboration in key areas such as trade, investment, energy, infrastructure development, and information technology.



Pakistan’s delegation will include secretaries and senior officials from several ministries, including Economic Affairs, Commerce, Energy, Maritime Affairs, and Interior. The UAE delegation will be led by HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, along with representatives from pertinent Emirati institutions.



The session will review the progress made in various domains of bilateral cooperation. It will also explore new avenues for collaboration, with expectations to finalize several legal instruments to institutionalize sectoral cooperation.



This meeting provides an opportunity for both nations to align their economic priorities and enhance their partnership, unlocking further potential for mutual benefits.
