Abu Dhabi: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, is set to lead a delegation to the 12th session of the Pakistan-UAE Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC) in Abu Dhabi on June 24, 2025. The meeting will focus on enhancing strategic, economic, and development ties between the two nations.
The JMC, recognized as the highest framework for bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and the UAE, aims to advance the agenda of collaboration in various sectors. The session will be co-chaired by Senator Dar and His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, who will be accompanied by senior Emirati officials.
The Pakistani delegation will include top officials from the ministries of Economic Affairs, Commerce, Energy, Maritime Affairs, and Interior. Discussions will cover progress in trade, investment, energy, infrastructure development, and IT, with the potential finalization of several legal agreements to formalize sectoral cooperation.
This session is poised to offer both countries a platform to align economic objectives and explore new opportunities for a mutually beneficial partnership.
