Pakistan, U.K. Reaffirm Partnership, Aim To Expand Cooperation


Islamabad: Pakistan and the United Kingdom have pledged to strengthen their collaboration across political, economic, and developmental domains, while also maintaining consistent communication on shared concerns. This agreement emerged from a discussion between Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper during the 80th UN General Assembly session in New York.



The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the value of further solidifying the multifaceted ties between the two nations. He also acknowledged the Pakistani diaspora’s substantial contribution to enhancing interpersonal connections.



The officials addressed various subjects of mutual significance, including the enduring Pakistan-UK alliance, commerce and financial investment, and collaboration in multinational platforms. They also shared perspectives on important regional and international developments.
