Islamabad, October 28, 2021 (PPI-OT):Speakers at a webinar organized by the Pakistan Mission to the United Nations in New York have reaffirmed their support to Kashmiri people in their just struggle for the UN-pledged right to self-determination. Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Munir Akram in his opening remarks said that Pakistan will standby the Kashmiri people. He said multiple rounds of bilateral talks on the Kashmir dispute failed due to Indian obduracy.

Munir Akram said the persistent refusal by India to grant the people of Jammu and Kashmir their right of self-determination led to popular alienation. The Norwegian politician Lars Rice and an OIC official Marghoob Saleem also voiced support for their right to self-determination.
