Pakistan to Launch Its Largest IT Park in Islamabad


Islamabad, In a landmark decision aimed at bolstering the country’s technology sector, the establishment of Pakistan’s largest Information Technology (IT) Park in Islamabad has been approved by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). Set to rise in the G-10 sector of the federal capital, this IT Park spans an impressive 3.3 acres, promising a new era of innovation and development opportunities for Pakistan’s burgeoning tech landscape.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the IT Park project will be developed through a public-private partnership model, offering state-of-the-art facilities to approximately six thousand freelancers. This initiative is poised to foster a conducive environment for creativity and collaboration within the IT industry, further strengthening Pakistan’s position in the global tech arena.



The government is currently in talks with the Pakistan Software Export Board and the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication to ensure the project’s success, signaling a committed effort to provide a robust platform for tech entrepreneurs, startups, and freelancers to thrive.



This ambitious project represents a significant step towards realizing the potential of Pakistan’s IT sector, marking a pivotal moment in the country’s tech industry evolution.
